Student Wellbeing

At CCS we believe it is of paramount importance to consider a student from a holistic perspective. This is why we are always paying attention not only to the academic development of the students, but also to their emotional and spiritual growth.

The Student Wellbeing Department supports the community through prevention, intervention, and monitoring of the emotional, social, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of our students, which are closely related to the learning process.

We offer our students:

Heading to College Program: Choosing a college degree program and a college to attend is one of the most important decisions students will have to make. Our vocational guidance program supports and guides high school students in the process of self-awareness, research, and selection of their vocational future through lessons, standardized assessments, and counseling.

Vocational tests: Our Wellbeing Department guides students through the “Heading to School” program that starts at 9th grade to help them identify their vocational interests, aptitudes and personality traits.

Advisory Class: The main purpose of this class is to advise the students on academic, social, or future-planning areas. To equip them with the indispensable academic, social, emotional, and life skills they will need to succeed in their personal and professional life.

Student Support Program: This program provides help to students who, due to specific situations or special conditions, have difficulties in some areas of their school life. Through intervention plans and strategies, it supports the development and academic success of the student.

Crisis Interventions:
A crisis is defined as a death or other traumatic event such as accident, self-injury, suicidal intent or ideation, threats of violence, bullying, child abuse, child negligence, or a natural disaster that interrupts the normal day-to-day functioning of the school. CCS believes in the sovereignty of God and we address each crisis in a biblical way. Depending on the crisis we may schedule one on one meetings or group meetings to provide the special support needed during this time.

Activities and talks for personal development: According to the needs that arise and the specific objectives for each school year, the counselor may plan talks, meetings, programs with specific objectives, and/or other activities to benefit the growth and development of students, families, and the entire community.

We offer our parents:

Family Counseling: Brief counseling is available for families on parenting, childhood development, family relationship, and similar topics.
