Being a Christian school is a blessing because we are able to make disciples through the education process. This discipleship that we are commanded to be a part of is accomplished in many ways at Christian Community School.
Beginning in the Early Education program all the way through 12th grade, our students are taught Biblical principles that are able to make them wise concerning salvation (2 Timothy 3:15). This is accomplished through regular Bible classes, which provide our students an understanding of the timeless truths of the Bible and challenge them to apply God's word to their lives.
From a complete study of the life of Christ to a factual study of every major Old Testament character, the early church, and the themes and topics of the Christian life, Bible classes build a foundation for a growing, maturing walk with God.
The Lord has blessed CCS with a great group of mothers who meet weekly at CCS (and other institutions around the world) to pray for the school, students and their families, faculty, and staff. Every week they bring before God, confidentially, the needs of the community and put our worries at his feet, trusting that He lovingly guides CCS and each one of our steps.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14)
Chapel is an integral part of our mission at Christian Community School to infuse our students’ education with Christian practices, beliefs, and models. The students gather every two weeks to deepen their understanding of God’s word. The Bible will be presented to all students while studying God, His attributes, and the Gospel of Christ.
Our ultimate goal at CCS is for students to grow in their walk with Christ, and we are excited for this opportunity. Some other opportunities offered to students include Bible studies, local mission work, and advisory groups.
