Our Mission is to pursue academic excellence in Christian education and foster a Christ-like character in a caring and supportive community.
Our Vision is to train up a godly generation equipped with the academic tools and biblical principles to reach their God-given potential and impact the world for Jesus Christ.
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17
We recognize the absolute truth, as revealed in the Word of God, and its importance to our lives. At Christian Community School teachers and staff are committed to help students discover the truth, to think critically in the classroom and in real life.
"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10
Each person is created in the image of God and therefore should be treated with respect. Respect is a manifestation of love for others and as such should be a link that connects all our interactions with others.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8
Continuous improvement and striving for excellence underlies everything we do academically, socially, spiritually and physically. Our goal is to help every student, faculty, and staff to achieve their best potential.
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Our relationships and academic performance are based on honesty and justice.
“It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20: 26-28
Christian Community School encourages students to follow the example of Christ’s leadership through service. CCS engages students in activities that teach the value of service and the joy of serving others. We train students to identify their spiritual gifts and use them to glorify God through service in their local school, church, and community.
WE BELIEVE that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 28:19; John 15:26).
WE BELIEVE that God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things (Romans 11:36; Romans 16:27).
WE BELIEVE in the inerrancy of the Scripture and that it is the final and supreme authority for our faith and life, because it is inspired by God and is useful "for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the absolute fulfillment of all scripture (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:15-18).
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4); His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).
WE BELIEVE in the absolute necessity of forgiveness of sin and the regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, which is possible only by God’s grace and through faith alone in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16-19; John 5:24; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5; 1 John 1:9; Revelation 3:20).
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18).
WE BELIEVE that after Jesus ascended to Heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today (John 14:17, 26; John 15:26).
WE BELIEVE in the personal and visible second coming of Jesus Christ to the Earth. He will return with His saints and set up a kingdom of which there will be no end. (1 Corinthians 4:5).
