Ordinance 4'2000 (Regulation of Private Educational Institutions) regulates the exercise of privately managed educational centers; to this end, they are classified as "recognized" or "accredited", if they show compliance to the regulations.
Serves as representative of the private sector of education before the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD), ensuring compliance with Law 66-97,Law 136-03 and other state regulations as well as the rights of educational private centers.
