School Board

The CCS School Board was instituted in November of 2019 with the purpose of ensuring that the school achieves its intended Organizational Impact, and acts in an appropriate and acceptable way.

It is formed by a group of 5 moral owner advisor members and the two legal owners.

Moral Owners:
Natalia Fernández — Economist, Financial Consultant
Sandra Cámpiz — Educational Consultant
Daniela Batista de Sierra — Psychologist , Master in Psychopedagogical Intervention
Dr. Alejandro Ramírez — Lawyer
Isaías Herrera — Electromecanic Engineer, MBA

"It was an honor and a blessing to work with Christian Community School in developing a governance board, providing training for the board members, and facilitating the development of governance policies for CCS. Ianka Vilanova de Leon and Atilio Leon were committed to develop the board for all of the right reasons, and now have a capable and dependable board to accompany and counsel them in vision-casting, board level decision-making, and supervision of the operation of the leadership and management of their vibrant Christ-centered and academically challenging school.

The decision to institute a ‘school board’ isn’t an easy one for school proprietors, but Ianka and Atilio have embraced and celebrated this advance, choosing to extend transparency and trust to the ‘moral owners” in the school’s community invited to serve on the board. The entire school community will be the beneficiary."
