Chapel is an integral part of our mission at Christian Community School to infuse our students’ education with Christian practices, beliefs, and models. The students gather weekly for corporate worship where a blend of both staff and students lead a time of praise and worship.
The Bible will be presented to all students while studying God, His attributes, and the Gospel of Christ. Our ultimate goal at CCS is for students to grow in their walk with Christ, and we are excited for this opportunity.
CCS curriculum includes Bible classes. The Bible Truths series by BJU Press gives our students an understanding of the timeless truths of the Bible and challenges them to apply them. From a complete study of the life of Christ to a factual study of every major Old Testament character, the early church, and the themes and topics of the Christian life, Bible classes builds a foundation for a growing, maturing walk with God.
Moms in Prayer
“Moms in Prayer” – (Mothers United in Prayer) is a prayer group that meets weekly at CCS (and other institutions around the world) to pray for the school, students, and their families, teachers, and all staff. Every Wednesday we bring before God, confidentially, the needs of the community, and we put our worries at his feet, trusting that He lovingly guides CCS’s and each one of our steps.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14)
Meetings: Wednesday, 8am – Chapel
Contact: At the school Office there is a box where prayer requests are received, and right there on paper you can leave us your name and contact information for whatever you need.
